If you are using the “New” Teams and you notice either the font/size is to small or to large - then there is not a setting change to put this right again, in the example of the zoomed in view, please see below for more details.

The “old” teams you can get yourself out of this problem by using a combination of the Ctrl and the plus and minus arrows or you could use the "zoom option" in Teams as below (this feature is not in the new version)
Unfortunately, for now you will need to clear your cache fix this problem:
- If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.
- Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key Image +R.
- In the Run dialog box, enter %localappdata%\Packages, and then select OK.
- Find the folder called “ MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe”
- Delete this folders (don’t worry, you won’t use any data)
- Restart Teams.
When you do start teams, it will take a couple more seconds to load, but you will notice your zoom settings have gone and teams has returned to normal.
No live example to "root cause"
I have had to fix this a couple of times, however, as the need to chat outweighed technical progression, I have no time to grab the configuration files, that being said next time this happens, I will take a look at the configuration files to see if I can track down the setting that is causing this.
