If you have a iPhone 3G and you have a requirement to install 3rd party applications on the device (which means applications you cannot get from the App Store) then you can use QuickPWN to complete this operation.....this tool in essence uses WinPWN but you get a GUI bbased interface.....
To complete the jailbreak follow thwe screenshots below:
1. Install and run the QuickPWN GUI based interface so you get something that looks like this..
2. Select the iPhone you wish to jailbreak, in this case I have chosen the iphone 3G indictaed by the big green tick!
3. Next point the application to the firmware file on your HDD....this will take a couple of minutes to complete
4. Wait for the Green Tick then you can continue...
5. Choose which options you would like from the list....
6. Connect your iPhone via USB and click next.....
The rest of the instructions can be completed by using common sense......
