If you are using Windows Vista x64 and you want to enable unsigned drivers for use within Windows then follow these instructions:
1. Open a command line as the administrator (not run as administrator)
2. Enter the commands:
bcdedit /set loadoptions "DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS"
bcdedit /set nointegritychecks ON
3. Close the command prompt and start group policy editor with the command:
Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc
4. Navigate to the path shown below
User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Driver Installation -> Code Signing for device drivers
5. Enable this policy and set it to Ignore state.
